Our weekly playgroup is a non-judgemental and nurturing space for children and parents to learn and grow together. Intentional, open-ended activities inspired by Reggio-Emilia and RIE philosophies invite children to create and explore. This mixed-age, play-based learning experience is designed to facilitate social-emotional learning whilst developing their curiosity, cognition, and motor skills. Parents have the opportunity to observe their children, ask questions, and build community. Raising a toddler is not for the faint of heart - Let’s do it together!
Facilitator: Christine West is an early childhood educator and toddler-Mom. She’s taught in preschools for over 7 years as a classroom teacher and enrichment instructor for yoga and cooking. She has an Early Childhood Education certificate from SMC, is trained as a mindfulness facilitator by UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Research Center, and has taught yoga for over 15 years.
Fee full semester: $249 (8 classes)
Fee per session: $39 per child
